Under the direction of Ian Higginson, Jubilate Chamber Choir is one of Gloucestershire's leading chamber choirs.

Jubilate performs a diverse range of music, sacred and secular, delighting audiences throughout the UK and in Europe. Our concerts can range from intimate recitals of unaccompanied singing to larger-scale works with guest soloists and chamber orchestra. Our Christmas extravaganza, The Joy of Christmas, is an annual crowd-pleaser with guest choirs, orchestra, readings and carols galore, and the occasional bag piper!

We were delighted to have had the opportunity of filming with Gyles Brandreth for the BBC One Show in 2011. See below to find out more.

In March this year Jubilate had the pleasure of singing with soloists Emma Kirkby, Hannah Davey, Sebastian Field, Paul Tompkins and Brian Pursey in an extremely successful performance of the Bach B minor mass.

We have a very exciting 2012 season and still to come we will be performing at one of our favourite venues, Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford. See 2012 events for further information, we'd love to see you!

Latest news:
Our next concert "Midsummer Serenade" will be on Saturday 16 June 7.30pm at St Mary's Church, Charlton Kings.

On Saturday 21 April at Cardiff Millenium Centre before the evening performance of South Pacific we sang a fun, lighthearted selection of musical numbers with solos and a duet from choir members.

Our Bach B minor mass concert at St Mary's Church Charlton Kings in March was a great success and sold out. Emma Kirkby said:

"Congratulations to Jubilate for the Bach B Minor Mass in Cheltenham on 17th March, in which I had the honour to sing. How heartening and inspiring to see a full choir with a good spread of ages and vocal ranges, unfazed by this huge and demanding piece, and able to enter into every nuance of the work with healthy yet subtle sound. By the end you were all as fresh as at the start! Thanks to all for a great evening!"
